• College Degree

• 1+ years of Banking / Cash Product / Securities / Processing experience in financial services environment.

• This role requires meticulous attention to detail.

• An acute awareness of the high risk, time critical and complex nature of the banking environment, an ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines is essential.

• Flexible to work overtime and on holidays

• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Access.

• Ability to work in a deadline driven environment

• A proactive approach to problem solving, taking ownership of issues and having the determination to follow things through

• Client focused

• Good time management skills

Preferred Skills & Experience - include specifics, as above

• Knowledge of Investment products.

• Knowledge of the operating and compliance standards and audit requirements of the department

• Worked in an automated Automated Processing environment


Job Description

• Managing the Funding of the Settlement Nostro for various currencies for settlement of Fixed Income and Equity deals

• Follow up with the Custodian / Counterparty for the Failed Trades

• Generating SWIFT messages for securities settlement

• Looking at the Pre matched report and settled deals report

• Confirming Foreign exchange, money market and Bullion trades in the system

• Following up with internal / external counterparty for unconfirmed trades

• Do account allocation - moving securities from domestic account to Euroclear account

• Handle cross border trades and handle queries

• Coordinate with the cash management team and the Middle Office team
